Ugodog Indoor Dog Potty ..... A Definite Hit With Dog Owners!

The UgoDog indoor dog potty definitely seems to be making a big hit with dog owners these days. With busy lifestyles and hectic schedules, many owners are looking for a quality indoor dog potty. So, what makes this one so special and how is it different from all the rest?

Well, first of all, it's tough. It can support dogs of all sizes. UgoDog uses an injection molding that is super tough. It's secure and doesn't sag when your dog steps on it.

Secondly, you don't need to use litter! Litter can be so messy to clean up and your dog can track it all over the house. With this indoor dog potty you use either newspaper or pee pads, whichever you prefer, and your dog never even touches it when they go.

That's because it has a grate system. Your dog steps right on to a grate that has very small grids. The urine flows right through the grate onto the newspaper or pee pads. So that means no wet feet! Now that's nice.

Probably the best thing though about the UgoDog indoor dog potty is that it is super easy to clean. Since there's no litter to deal with, all you need to do is take the grate off, throw the newspaper in the trash, spray it off or wipe it down, and then just replace with new paper. Now that's pretty easy!

So all in all, I'd say that the UgoDog indoor dog potty is definitely worth taking a look at!

Pee pads vs Litter box vs indoor potty system (like the Ugodog)?

we want to have an alternative for going outside - just in case. We thought the litter box would be the best method... but is another system better, in your opinion?
our pup has always been pretty darn receptive to different tricks and commands. and, well, we're willing to "undo" the training we did, especially since there have been a large amount of success stories. the benefits outweigh the risks.

if it doesn't work, it doesn't work. but, I was just wondering your opinion on each of these three techniques... no one saying that it's a bad idea will change any opinion. thanks though!

I would avoid a litter box, dogs don't like to bury their waste like cats do, and puppies LOVE to eat cat litter, so it would probably just turn into a safety issue for him. (We had to move our cat box to another, baby-gated room when we got our puppy because he couldn't keep his mouth out of it). But they do have "dog litter" that is bigger and more like simulated dirt: http://www.petsmart.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2754401, so that might help avoid confusion between the outside terrain and his box inside.

Pee Pads would be easy to clean (no litter in the mouth or scattered around the floor), and there are actual pad holders that clip the corners down so the dogs can't get a hold of the edges:

They also have grass patches that are like a raised pad with grass. Using that might be best, since then it won't confuse the puppy with going outside on grass and inside on pads. This would just be like bringing some grass inside I guess: https://www.pottypatch.com/

I cannot claim success with any of these products though, as I have not used them.

Good Luck with your puppy!
