rust colour coming through from stainless steel nails in wooden joinery?
hi we've just had double glazing installed and have painted the new wooden windows in a water based enamel. problem is there are now rust-coloured stains appearing in small splotches over where we have puttied and painted over small stainless steel nails in the joinery. does anyone know why the area has become discoloured and what to do about it?
