4 Great Advantages of Installing Electronic Pet Door
A pet door is a device that allows your pet to enter and exit the house without your assistance whenever they want to go in or out. Pet doors come in different design and styles.
Essentially, the traditional pet door is a flap, which swings in both directions whenever your pet goes in or out of the house. However, these flaps also allow other animals to come inside the house.

Advantages of having an electronic pet door installed in your house:
1. These doors open only for your pet alone thus eliminating unwanted stray animals in entering your house. It avoids unnecessary litters, mess and excretes inside the house that can be made with other animals.
2. It avoids harsh elements from entering the house since your pet sets off the signal for the door to open, once the pet is gone, the door automatically closes. Door flaps, on the other hand, swings in and out, thus, letting other elements to come in the house.
3. Compared to regular pet door and door flaps, electronic pet doors are safe since they are sealed tightly. Objects cannot be shoved in since they are close when not in use by pet animals.
4. It also gives the owner a peace of mind especially if there's a baby inside. As I have stressed earlier on this article, it only opens to pets wearing a special sensor collar, thus, keeping the baby from getting out.
Once your electronic pet door is installed, training your dog how to use it is next. To show how it works, try standing on the other side with a pet.
Treat and encourage your pet to go through. Be patient in persuading your dog. They may get scared and never use it again if you insist in pushing them.
