Dead Ringers Skull Rings - Does It Say Who You Are?
There are few people who ride motorcycles who do not have some kind of attraction to skulls. I don't what it is exactly, but there seems to be some kind of yen for this emblem and what it connotes. You can find it stamped on just about everything that a motorcyclist sports - jackets, skull rags, shirts, tattoos, patches, vests, boots, and jewelry. Maybe it is a throwback to the freedom, adventure, dauntless attitude, and rebellion to authority symbolized in pirate garb, swashbuckling, and lifestyle portrayed on the high seas of the 17th and 18th centuries. But whatever it is, it is entrenched as part of the motorcycle culture. Along with this, you will see every kind of skull design one can imagine from the Jolly Roger to exact replicas to the comedic and cartoonish.

The skulls that I have used on my web page are pictures of the rings that designer and creators Steve R. Gillespie and Mark Eston have made. They are fashioned of high quality precious metals, hand finished, then numbered and signed on the Deadringer seal. These pieces are unique in the truest sense of the word. They are ONE OF A KIND. I have seen skull rings at a million motorcycle rallies sitting in black boxes and stuffed into velvet ring slots. FUHGITABOUTIT. These creations are beyond amazing. They are the work of a professional craftsman and artist. From what I read, the metal maestro and creator is obsessed with intricate detail and perfection. That is the kind of person I want to make what I imagine in this sort of thing. I want to buy the best and the most authentic. The polished, sterling silver ring with the silver skull and full jaw accented with the bullet hole in the head is absolutely stunning in detail. But they all are.
These folks are way out in New Zealand. The rings range from $300 to $675. But they are absolutely remarkable and would be an unforgettable mark of identity like the speck of a primary color in a black and white photo on the finger of the right person, particularly one who sees an image of himself somehow denoted in all these rings imply.
